My daughter is 14 months old.
She cannot read yet. She cannot write yet. She is learning how to walk, how to point at things, how to figure out the world around her one small discovery at a time.
And I am already thinking about what her classroom will look like when she gets there.
She is growing up in a world where AI will be able to do almost everything for her. Write her essays. Solve her problems. Answer every question before she has had a chance to sit with it. And I know — because I grew up struggling to learn in my own way in Rwanda — that the real gift is not the answer. The real gift is learning how to find it yourself.
